Oleksandr Nikulin

An internationally renowned energy scientist, he has served as a senior researcher at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, general manager of several institutions, vice president of the Ukrainian Innovation Chamber, and senior researcher at the Pukhov Institute for Energy Engineering Modeling.

He has been awarded the VG Schuhov Gold Medal (2008) and the VP Glushkov Gold Medal (2009), and is an academician of the International Academy of Computer Systems Sciences (2006) and the Academy of Energy Sciences of Ukraine (2008).

His major achievements include developing hazardous waste treatment technologies, high-performance sorbents for oil spills, separation of single graphene particles, thermal insulation foam, and innovative airfoils for helicopters.
